Carlee George

Carlee George, Staff Writer

Returning for her second year on staff, Carlee George is ready to conquer junior year. Although many things have changed in the past year, writing has remained her constant. You can most likely find Carlee with her nose in a book or listening to music; sometimes both. As a lover of music, she cannot be tied down to a certain genre; and transcends all boundaries listening to BTS, The Beatles, Elvis and George Strait. She is also a member of the band, in which she plays the playing mellophone and French horn, and NHS. Outside of school, Carlee loves to spend time with her family and dog, Champ. She loves early Sunday mornings and late Wednesday nights spent with her second family at church. Although seemingly quiet, she can talk your ear off about Texas, books, politics and food - she really loves food. TRL has brought out the good in Carlee through pushing her out of her (tightly kept) comfort zone. Though she is not the most positive person, she is definitely looking forward to another fantastic year on staff.
