Jake is currently a freshman at Lovejoy High school and has a passion for sports. Jake’s favorites sports are track and football, and he will be running indoor track this winter His sister is currently a senior, and can’t wait to get out of the house.  You can usually find Jake on the track running and training for upcoming meets. On his first day at High School, Jake got in a minor car accident, and was late to newspaper. He has been in newspaper since 7th grade, and this is his first year at the Red Ledger. He enjoys sports writing, opinion stories, and graphic art and design. Ever since he was little, he loved writing, and knew he wanted to be involved in a class that was all about writing stories. He wants to thank you for reading his bio, and he hopes you enjoyed.

After the last meet, both girls and boys swim won the district championship with senior Ben Ominara as the most decorated swimmer. The teams will be competing again at the Regional meet on Feb. 4, 5, and 6 in Frisco.
