October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign by the National Breast Cancer Foundations, Inc. aimed to raise awareness about the disease. Throughout the month, people wear the color pink or pin pink ribbons onto their clothing in support of breast cancer survivors and remember those who passed away.
