Ranked as one of the top 5 scariest haunted houses in the country, Cutting Edge in Fort Worth has no doubt created quite a frightening reputation for itself.
With moving floors, demented clowns and revving chainsaws, Cutting Edge has it all. Whatever your worst nightmare is, multiply it by 10. Right as you enter the attraction your senses are immediately taken away. Blackness surrounds you and the air is very muggy and wet, making for a very uncomfortable environment.
Each long winding hallway is compact, forcing you to be up close and personal with the frightening actors and other customers. Cutting Edge is set up in what was a meat processing factory founded in 1908. The industrial setting is perfect for a good scare. In fact, there is a whole room dedicated to the building’s past.
The “Meat Slinger” room is Cutting Edge’s most famous attraction. Bodies hanging from hooks, dim lighting, and the smell of gas from the gigantic man with a chainsaw are all enough to scare the toughest of tough.
The haunted house is only an hour away from the Fairview/Allen area and is a great idea if you are looking to do something new and have a good time with your friends.
However, it is strongly suggested that people with asthma, claustrophobia, or any medical conditions do not attend Cutting Edge.
All in all, it is a guaranteed scare.
