Choir starts year with success

On Monday October 3rd, the choir held its first concert of the year. Though it was three weeks late, the anticipation was worth it. The concert was held in honor of the lives lost and the heroes of 9/11.  The hard work was definitely showcased throughout the performance, and with every harmony the audience was overwhelmed with goose bumps.

Despite a few minor complications, it was spectacular for a first concert. The overall crowd pleaser was Prayer of the Children, which left the audience in tears and the choir with a standing ovation. They finished the concert with America the Beautiful, and another standing ovation.  The next concert is in December, and hopefully it will be as good as this one.
