Zoe Allison, TRL photographer
Sophomore Zoe Allison loves the simple things in life, such as iced coffee, music, and laughing with her friends. In seventh grade, she didn’t intend to take newspaper, as she was in Mrs. Sanders’ photography class. She would sit in the very back alone, writing, playing with photoshop, and listening to her music. One day, Mrs. Sanders asked her to join the newspaper staff, and little did Zoe know that she would fall in love with journalism. Zoe liked writing, but wasn’t the best at it. She always loved art, but couldn’t draw to save her life. However, photography came naturally to her, so photography was her way of art. She loves nature photography the most and will chase a butterfly for hours just to get the perfect shot. She’s progressed from taking low quality photos on her phone to taking award winning photos on her camera. Zoe will pursue her love for photography by taking photos for The Red Ledger and making art with her nature photos and creativeness. Zoe is excited to serve as a photographer on staff this year.
