First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch favorite that specializes in both traditional and innovative creations all freshly prepared to order. At First Watch Stacy Road, they are open from 7am-2:30pm everyday.

First Watch is a popular breakfast and lunch restaurant all over America. We recently had one open in the Fairview area and it has been a hit. Based on what I’ve heard, most people either love it, or hate it. People love the warm environment, and freshness of the food, but some people think it is too expensive for the quality. Personally, I think the food is top notch, and it never fails to make me happy for a Sunday brunch.

First of all, let’s dive into the food. I love both sweet and savory breakfast styles, and no matter which mood I’m in, First Watch delivers. My favorite sweet meal from the griddle is the “Floridian French Toast.” It’s thick cut brioche bread with powdered cinnamon sugar, covered with fresh banana, kiwi, and seasonal berries. I love how thick the bread is, but at the same time it is never too overpowering. The fruit gives a good balance of freshness when mixed with the toast, and it makes the perfect combination in my mouth. Something that takes it to the next level is the cinnamon sugar. It adds a little kick to the flavor of the meal, and wouldn’t be the same without it. On the sweet side again is the pancakes. There are many different options and all of them are delicious and never fail to fill me up. The portion sizes are good, and I am always satisfied when I’m done.

Now on the savory side one of my all time favorites is “The Traditional.” It serves two eggs however you want, bacon, smoked ham or sausage, and seasoned potatoes with fresh whole-grain toast. The meal includes a little bit of everything to satisfy my cravings for a savory breakfast. The potatoes and bacon are delicious. The only thing is sometimes my eggs aren’t cooked how I prefer, and the toast can get a little stale. I would take those two things over giving up this meal any day though. It’s a basic, but always satisfactory meal for brunch.

Something else I really liked about First Watch was the aesthetic. It’s very homey inside and the outside has lovely flowers that make the springy aesthetic even better. The lighting inside is comforting, and the wood all around the big open space makes it feel very clean. It’s very modern and up to date with today’s styles and I really enjoyed it!

All in all, I would go to First Watch again and I recommend you do! Whether you want sweet or savory, you will definitely get a healthy meal surrounded by an inviting environment!
