Saturday will be anything but restful for 175 choir students as they compete in the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest at Plano East Senior High School.

This competition should be one of the largest events of the year for Choir and could be a defining moment for this year’s UIL team.  The competition also offers opportunities for well scoring singers. Students that receive a high enough rating will advance to the state competition in May on the campus of UT Austin.

Competitions are expected to run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Results will be posted toward the end of the day.
