Even with the delays due to thunderstorms she blew everyone away.

Lana Del Rey is now finished with her Europe tour and has now made her way to the United States with sold out shows. She’s been to Tennessee and Austin, Texas so far, and made her way down to Dallas, Texas. She played Dos Equis pavilion on September 19th, 2023 and blew everyone away. I was fortunate enough to be able to see her and I was starstruck when she took the stage for the first time.

Lana’s show in Dallas started off on a promising note then thunderstorms hit, causing security to relocate everyone into shelter and delay the show. Her opener Nikki Lane’s set was unfortunately called off due to the weather. This created anxiety and made fans scared that the entire show would be canceled. Lana quickly announced to her Instagram that her set would be moved to 8:30 PM instead of her original time of 9:00 PM. She still didn’t go on till 9:10 but as always her fans forgave her. The vocalist played all her hit songs from her new album such as “A&W”, “Let the light in (feat. Father John Misty)” and “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd”.

Lana Del Rey released her 9th album, “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd” on March 24, 2023. With each album she has released up to this one her listeners become more enamored by who she truly is. This is part of her magic and the source of much of her artistic power. This album is definitely Lana’s most personal and vulnerable work she has ever released. Each track has its own distinct story worth hearing, its a mixture of all her genres and sounds throughout the years.

Seeing Lana Del Rey live in a concert was a fever dream for me. I never in my life believed I would ever be able to be lucky enough to see her in person. The first song I ever listened to by her was “Ultraviolence” and it continues to be my favorite song by her to this day. The feeling I felt when I heard her vocals to the first song she played was unimaginable. September 19, 2023 was truly the highlight of my year.
