Colston Adamson: I play both football and track

CA: My favorite memory from this track season is placing first at the district meet in high jump.

TRL: During track season, what events did you compete in?

CA: This year I competed in the high jump, long jump, triple jump and the 400 meter race.

TRL: What does it mean to you to make it to the regional tournament?

CA: Attending regionals was a really fun experience to advance and just go compete with my teammates and see new competition.

TRL: What was it like to be a freshman at the regional tournament?

CA: It was really cool to advance to regionals as a freshman and be one of the only freshmen in the events I competed in.

TRL: What is your favorite aspect of track?

CA: My favorite thing about track is that I just get to go compete with myself and beat my own PRs every week.

TRL: Who/What inspires you in all of your sports?

CA: My dad inspires me because he was my coach in football growing up and he played football and track so i just wanted to follow his footstep.

TRL: Do you have any hopes of continuing any of your sports in the future? What are those hopes?

CA: In the future, I want to run track in college at Ole Miss or LSU.

Margo Friloux, Section Editor
Entering her final year on staff, Margo is excited to work with her Co-Sports Editor and Leopard Life alum, Will Doig. This year is bittersweet to Friloux. She is ready to soak up the rest of her high school years in the newsroom. Out of the newsroom, Friloux is hoping it up, hanging out with friends, going to Braum's, watching “Grey’s Anatomy” or “Star Wars” and hanging out with her sisters. Friloux is an avid Harry Styles and Anakin Skywalker fan. She gets the chance to see her idol, Mr.Styles, in concert this year, and she is determined to make him fall in love with her. In school, Friloux is a part of the Patient Care Technician (PCT) class, NHS, LARK and basketball. Although she’s still shedding tears over the retirement of Parker and Lindsey, she and Doig are still carrying on the Leopard Life legacy. Live. Laugh. Love. TRL.

Heading into her second year on staff, senior Katie Dolberry is excited to take on the role of sports editor and photographer. She would like to pursue journalism as a sports broadcaster. Outside of the newsroom, Katie puts her height and long wingspan to use by playing post in basketball and first base in softball; she is also a part of PALS. More often than not, Katie can be found talking to her Sky Ranch friends or talking about camp in general. If you were to drive past her, you would likely hear her jamming to lots of country music. Katie is also a chapstick addict and has some in her pocket 24/7. Her favorite flavor is candy cane. More things Katie loves include chocolate, bucket hats, throwing the football, Bible journaling, picnics with friends and the sky. Katie cannot wait to see what her second year on staff has to offer.
