The class of 2015 is down to its final days on campus. In addition to this week’s schedule which features exams, the schedule for May 24-30 is below.

Sunday, May 24: Students will participate in Baccalaureate on Sunday afternoon at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. This event will start at 3:00 p.m. Students should arrive no later than 2:30 p.m. if they are participating in this event. Students will need to wear their graduation gown for the ceremony. Please make sure to have your gown pressed prior to the event.

Monday, May 25: Senior Brunch at the Plano Centre will begin at 11 a.m. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. Please contact Kris Kort with any questions regarding this event. Since Memorial Day is now a bad weather makeup day, only seniors attending the brunch will be excused from school that day.

Tuesday, May 26: Seniors will attend school for a half day participating in an awards presentation and watching the senior lip dub. Students will be permitted to leave campus for the remainder of the day at the conclusion of these events.

Wednesday, May 27: Seniors will take part in a day at Six Flags. The cost to participate in the activity will be $45. This price will include park admission, a picnic lunch buffet, transportation to and from the park, and their Class of 2015 t-shirt.

Thursday, MAY 28: Seniors take part in a day of disability awareness here on campus. The students will participate in team sports with physically and/or mentally challenged students from area districts. The students will play on unified teams as well as take part in lunch together here on campus. This will be a half-day event, and students will be permitted to leave after lunch.

Friday, May 29: Seniors will attend graduation practice from 8:45-10:30 a.m. here at LHS. At the conclusion of graduation practice, seniors will participate in the traditional Senior Walk.

Saturday, May 30: Graduation ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Allen Event Center. Seniors should arrive at 8:30 a.m.

In order to participate in these activities a participating a student cannot have more than one documented office referral, and he/she cannot be placed in ISS, OSS, or DAEP at anytime during the last six weeks of the second semester. Students must pay all outstanding fines and fees and have taken care of all attendance hours.
