Tennis team goes to district

The tennis teams will be competing in the district meet on Tuesday April 8 at the Mckinney Country Club.

The Leopard tennis team is competing in the District 13-4A UIL tournament on Monday and Tuesday.

The tennis team was represented well at the seeding meeting taking three number one seeds.

– #1 Seed in Boys Singles – Sybrand Cnossen

– #1 Seed in Girls Singles – Brittani Brooks

– #1 Seed in Mixed Doubles – Grady Wells/Ariaan Cnossen

“Last year we qualified 5 female players to the Regional Tournament,” head coach Adam Cherry said. “I am hopeful to get 7-9 players out including 4 males this year. We will play up to the semi’s on Monday. District Championships will be determined on Tuesday.”

All matches all being played at El Dorado Country Club.
