Upcoming high school students will have the opportunity to explore the many electives and activities the high school offers at the annual Spring Showcase in the cafeteria and commons from 6-8 p.m. tonight.

“The showcase’s purpose is to advertise programs and extracurricular activities, and classes for students who are currently (high school) students and 8th grade students who will be at the school next year,” guidance counselor Amanda Breeden said.

The showcase gives students the chance to ask questions and find the electives that are right for their schedule.

“It’s good for recruiting for programs who are smaller, like health science, or elective groups that maybe kids don’t know about,” Breeden said. “It’s also great for parents who don’t normally get this opportunity to ask questions to sponsors and teachers.”
