Students will get an extra long weekend with Friday’s early release day followed by a school holiday on Monday (Columbus Day).  The day ends at 1:00 p.m. with students attending just the first four periods of their schedule.  Fourth period will end at 12:15 p.m, followed by a 45 minute lunch.  From there, students will be released for the day.

While students are heading home, teachers will be starting an afternoon of professional development.  Among the topics teachers will be discussing: similarities and differences in instruction.

Both students and teachers return to school on Tuesday, Oct. 12.
