Spring+showcase+shows+students+options

Staff and administration will be giving parents and students previews of next years classes in the commons this evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  It’s part of the Spring Showcase and approximately 50 tables will be set up, displaying all clubs, organizations, extracurricular activities, and classes, providing information to students and parents.

“Students can learn about all the opportunities here at LHS, and about ways to get involved,” Councilor Amanda Breeden said.

Presentations and meetings will also be available for Senior Project, Dual Credit, AP courses, the PSAT, as well as 9th and 10th grade parent meetings. The showcase is open to students in 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade.

Rachel Faucett, Staff Reporter
Rachel Faucett is a freshman at Lovejoy high school who has spent over half of her life at weddings. At fourteen years old, she still has no idea what lured her into the newspaper room; perhaps the crazy staff or a cabinet filled with snacks had something to do with it. Rachel has been a Christian ever since she was little, thinking the priest was Santa Claus. When she isn’t busy attending school or church events, which take up most of her social life, she likes to have fun with her friends and family.
