Clubs on campus

There are more than 15 clubs and organizations on campus that you can be a part of. Many of these are listed below. To join one of these clubs or find out more information about them, contact the sponsor.Spanish Club–Mallin Hernandez

  • Promotes the Spanish Language and Culture.

Krue–Jane Schiller

  • Runs the flags at every touchdown or field goal. The Krue does push-ups for every point scored and leads the student section in cheers.

ASL Club–Edward Bart

  • Plans activities related to the Deaf and to raise awareness about the Deaf community.

ASL Honor Society–Edward Bart

  • High performing students log community service hours assisting the Deaf community towards graduation honors, and enter national ASL performance competitions.

DOLLS (Daughters of Our Living Lord and Savior)–Natalie Page

  • Student run, non-denominational Christian club for girls who grow in their relationship with God through devotionals, worship, and discussions.

Extreme Engineering Club–Brian Lidington

  • Split into two parts: Robotics and Rocketry. Robotics competes in the VEX Robotics meets. Rocketry is entering the TARC competition where they design their own rocket to perform an awesome feat.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)–Shawn Purcell

  • United in one cause, the group meets in homes weekly for activities.

PALS–Allison Lyles and Kyle Herrema

  • Centered on community service, they work on building relationships with students and meet for activities and interests.

Model United Nations Club–Kevin Finn

  • Students act as U.N. representatives of different countries at conferences with students of different schools. At the conferences, each group is assigned a country and a real-world situation to address from their country’s point of view.

Majestics Dance Team–Fela Lowrance

  • Practice and work to perform at varsity football games and for community and national audiences and compete in local dance competitions.

Mock Trial Team–Jan Delisle

  • Students are either “lawyers” or “witnesses” on a team which practices weekly and participates in trials, scrimmages, and competitions.

Varsity Cheerleading–Sandi Petty

  • Cheerleaders promote school spirit through pep rallies and cheering at various sporting events.

Student Council–Tami Parker

  • Students plan several school events along with community service opportunities.

Speech and Debate Team–Tami Parker

  • Travel around Texas and participate in speech and debate competitions.

UIL Academic Team–Tami Parker

  • Several programs, such as newspaper, english, debate, speech, math, science, etc., where students compete in academic events.

Key Club–Pam Ford

  • Student-led organization whose goal is to teach leadership through service, performing different community service acts.

National Honor Society–Ginny Clark

  • National program in which high-achieving students promote unity and leadership through community service and other activities.

Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE)–Amanda Gulley

  • Statewide organization created to allow students an opportunity to explore the teaching profession.
