Last Friday, the Lovejoy football team beat Argyle, breaking their 11 year home winning streak. The team won the game 42-14. They will play again this Friday at home against North Crowley.

Coach Kelly is the head boys cross country and track coach and has been in Lovejoy for ten years. This year he is aiming to win both the cross country and track state meets.

Last Saturday, the football team competed in the Tom Landry Classic at Eagle Stadium in Allen. The team won the game 50-37. Football will play their next game on Friday against Argyle.

The Lovejoy Football spring game was this past Thursday. The team has been doing three practices a week for the past five weeks in preparation. The game was against JV and Varsity.
