The Red Ledger: What’s the purpose of the Dirty Drumline?

Nick Spooner: The purpose is to lead the student section with our energy to have an effect on the game. 

TRL: Why did you want to become part of the Dirty Drumline?

NS: Since my freshman year, I have always wanted to be a part of it and all my friends were doing it. 

TRL: Why is school spirit important?

NS: School spirit connects students with the community and shows our support for athletics. 

TRL: What does the Dirty Drumline do?

NS: During football season, we attend every football game, get the student section loud and make everyone’s Friday night special.

TRL: What are you planning on bringing to the Dirty Drumline?

NS: We are always going to show up for every single game.

TRL: How do you plan to bring more spirit to the Jungle?

NS: We are going to be louder than ever. We are going to be the best Dirty Drumline class in Lovejoy history.

TRL: What are you most excited about being on the Dirty Drumline?

NS: I am excited to experience being a member of the Dirty Drumline.
