Algebra teacher Tracy Benson

“I came to Lovejoy for a little bit more of that small town feel. And I came to Lovejoy, because I had the opportunity to coach cross country and track here. My goals for myself are to get to know a lot of the kids here in Lovejoy and make an impact teaching kids in algebra and be successful with our cross country and track programs. It’s been awesome. Everyone here has been really nice and welcoming. I love the feel of the culture here. This would be my seventh year [teaching]. I’ve taught elementary and middle school as well, but this will be my 19th year of teaching in total. So, I’ve taught everything from fifth grade up to 12th grade.”
