“Personally, [the college admissions process] wasn’t too bad. I had one college in mind that I really wanted to go to, and it is not a super hard college to get into. So, I didn’t have too many struggles. Overall, I know that  [COVID-19] made it a lot worse. Statistically, I know in terms of financial aid, it was the least amount of money given out across the nation. UTD, for example, this is the least amount of money they have given out since their founding. I know way less people got accepted into colleges than normal. Just off of sheer statistics, I know this year has been horrible.”
