Sad: Rainy spring weather

Texas is known for its warm mornings and hot afternoons. With the last few days of school close in sight, the weather has not lived up to its reputation. To say students are tired of the endless gloomy and rainy days would be an understatement. Now, students are seen eating lunch in the commons, staring longingly out the windows, hoping for the sun to poke through the clouds.

With the stress of AP tests and final exams, it would be a nice break to step outside and enjoy sunshine and nice weather.  Instead, the wind and rain make it almost impossible to see the end of the school year in sight. The fact that there is a 100% chance of rain on Saturday certainly doesn’t help matters either.

This weather also brings up the issue of what to wear. It’s confusing with temperatures constantly changing. Typically at this point of the year, it’s shorts weather all the way, but recently students have needed to add layers to combat the chilly weather. Students hope that soon Texas and the sun will become friends again and the sunshine will return. As soon as possible
