Junior Joy Chou – Taiwan

The Red Ledger: What do you miss about Taiwan?

Joy Chou: I miss the food.

TRL: When did you move here?

JC: I got here August 12. I will be an exchange student for two years.

TRL: What extracurriculars do you take?

JC: I take art, theatre, anatomy, and government.

TRL: What is the biggest difference between Taiwan and the US?

JC: School is different because here you go to a different class every period. [Taiwan] has the same class and [the] teacher comes to teach us. Our classmates are always the same.

TRL: What has been the best experience you’ve had in the US so far?

JC: I think coming to this school. It’s very good here because I’ve never been in an American high school.
