Neighborhood night out

Catherine Hathaway, A&E Editor

The end of the year can be hectic for students and parents alike with the pressure of exams, senior graduation, and the anticipation of summer. Community members can let their inner child (or their real children) out for Mckinney’s Neighborhood Night at the Movies.

The city is setting up a free, family friendly movie night for three weekends in April, beginning Friday, April 1, with the hit Disney movie and Academy Awards Best Animated Feature, Inside Out. The movies will play on Friday nights. Below are the schedule of the movies and the location where they will be held:

Inside Out- April 1 Falcon Creek Park

Shaun the Sheep- April 15 Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex Phase 2

Minions- April 29 at Sonnatag Park

Guests are encouraged to break out the blankets and bug spray and join the community from 7:30-10 p.m. for a couple of family friendly evenings of outdoor movies.
