Playing McKinney this past Tuesday, Leopard softball came back with another “W”. Winning 12-1, Lovejoy now has a district record of 5-2. The game stayed scoreless through 3 innings until Alyssa DiFiore got a home run in the top of the fourth inning. This run started a rally that gave the Leopard 9 runs in that inning alone. It took two more innings to add three more runs from a double RBI in-the-park home run from Kylee Ramos. After one more round of fielding, the game ended  an inning early because of the mercy rule.

Softball’s next game is away on Friday against Denison. Their next home game will be next Tuesday at 7pm against the Sherman Bearcats.
