Leopards hold their own at the Lovejoy Invitational

One of the more interesting races of the track meet, a Lovejoy runner comes over one of the steeplechase hurdles into the pool of water on the other side. He eventually placed first in the 2000 meter race, setting the state and national record.

This past Saturday, students from schools across the Dallas metroplex took to the track at the Lovejoy Invitational track meet. Leopards were among them, making a strong showing. They took first place across three divisions, varsity boys and girls as well as JV boys, and placed first individually in 15 events. They compete once again tomorrow at the Argyle Relays.
