How do you feel about the statement the Oscars are ‘too white’?
“I completely agree with that statement. I think they’ve always been too white. I tend to watch the Oscars every year, and I haven’t seen any African American or any LGBTQA+ representatives receive very many awards. Being apart of the LGBTQA+ society, it’s kind of hurtful that we don’t get recognized as much as all the male, white actors do because we have just as much talent.”
