The Leopards (7-19, 3-9 in district) take on Denison High School (5-14, 1-7) today at 6:15 p.m. as the seniors play their last game at home. The Leopards’ last game on Tuesday resulted in a very close loss to McKinney High School 70-64. Junior Braden Ledebur went off, leading the team with 30 points in the game.

Seniors Drew Hawley and Justin Kirkpatrick will both be suiting up for their last games under the lights of their home arena. Each reflected on his high school career.

“My greatest achievement during my time at Lovejoy would be this summer’s team camp,” Kirkpatrick said.

“The greatest basketball achievement I have at Lovejoy is when I hit the game-winning shot against Bridgeport High School,” Hawley added.
The Leopards close out the season on the road on Tuesday against Sherman.
