Dressing up against drugs

PALS members have created dress-up themes for every day next week in order to promote drug awareness among other students.

Organized by PALS, Red Ribbon Week will start on Monday, Oct. 26 and last until Friday, Oct. 30. The purpose of this week is to promote drug awareness among teens, hopefully steering them away from doing drugs.

  • Monday, Oct. 26:

Dress-Up Day Theme: Put Drugs to Sleep- PJ Day

Activity during lunch: Photobooth/Twitter contest in library. PALS will be looking at Twitter and voting on the best dress-up day costume. Winners for each day will be announced at the end of the week, and each will win a pizza party during their lunch on Friday.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 27:

Dress-Up Day Theme: Pair Up Against Drugs- Twin Day

Activity during lunch: Photobooth/Twitter contest.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 28:

Dress-Up Day Theme: Fight Against Drugs- Superhero Day

Activity during lunch: Photobooth/Twitter contest.

  • Thursday, Oct. 29:

Dress-Up Day Theme:  Drugs are out of Style- Old School

Activity during lunch: Photobooth/Twitter contest.

  • Friday, Oct. 30:

Senior Pep Rally

Dress-Up Day Theme: Red Out- Senior Night
