The Allen Arts Alliance is holding a gallery art festival at Watter’s Creek on Mother’s Day weekend. Many recognized artists will attend, such as painter Debbie Smith and mixed media artist Mick McGill.

The festival will also feature live entertainment and many interactive activities for everyone. It is a free event that everyone can enjoy and experience new art with art available to purchase.

“When ever I go to an art exhibit, I feel like I learn something about myself,” art teacher Jeff Seidel. “The viewer interprets the artist’s intent. Our own experiences shape how we decipher a work of art. It is always interesting to see what ideas and emotions are triggered while looking at art.”
