  1. At prom, if you want to wear your hair down. Do it. But bring a hair tie. Because eventually, it’s going up.
  2. Do not spend a ridiculous amount of money on heels for any school dance. No matter how cute they are, don’t. Trust me, your shoes never stay on longer than three songs.
  3. Every student should have these apps to survive. SoundCloud for music. Sudoku for in class entertainment. A short-cut to PowerSchool. And girls, Pinterest.
  4. So, if you want to wear Vans. DO IT! Yes I have, guilty as charged.
  5. High school is where you find your bridesmaids, not your husband.
  6. Sometimes it’s better to keep your mouth shut.
  7. Stand up for yourself and family.
  8. You don’t have to comment on everything!
  9. If you can’t stop thinking about it, don’t stop working for it.
  10. Always have a plan.
  11. Be ready for your plan to change, because it will.
  12. Take pictures of everything.
  13. The people you are friends with freshman year may not be your friends senior year.
  14. You need your mommy more than ever.
  15. Your body can now run on a minimum of two hours of sleep.
  16. You can get dressed for school in a record of seven minutes.
  17. Don’t try to fit in, you will only outcast yourself that much more.
  18. Work hard, play hard. Get your work done first then you can reward yourself. Netflix.
  19. Wake up with determination, go to bed with satisfaction.
  20. You don’t really wanna grow up.
  21. You will always have a choice, there’s always an option.
  22. Weak people strive for revenge, strong people forgive, intelligent people ignore.
  23. If you need help, ask for it. If someone offers you help, take it.
  24. Do not let someone tell you that you aren’t good enough. They aren’t worth your time.
  25. Don’t forget where you came from, stay true to you and your home roots.
