Choir solo and ensemble sings to state

The choir students competed in the UIL Solo and Ensemble competition on Saturday, February 7. Of 188 entries from the school, 148 students earned a superior rating (1) and 100 percent of the singers earned a superior or excellent (2) rating at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition. This is the most students from one school in the entire region. In addition 14 solos and 9 ensembles qualified to compete at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition in Austin by earning a superior on a class 1 composition.
