Some of the girls and boys cross country team have joined the elite All-State team.

Four Leopard cross country runners have earned academic all state honors from the Texas High School Coaches Association and the United States Marine Corps. These awards were given to senior cross country runners Chloe Tedder, Rachel Tedder, Grant Ballard, and Sam Ruhala.

Chloe Tedder – 1st Team Girls Cross Country

Rachel Tedder – 1st Team Girls Cross Country

Grant Ballard – 2nd Team Boys Cross Country

Sam Ruhala – Honorable Mention Boys Cross Country

Academic all state rewards are given to student athletes who are shine in areas like GPA, class rank, and ACT/SAT scores.

“It was pretty cool to be named academic all state because I didn’t even know about it until Logan (Kelly) mentioned it,” senior Chloe Teddar said. “I like working hard and good grades and running.”
