Volleyball survives scare but advances
While district playoffs were not as successful as planned, varsity volleyball still plans on being an aggressive competitor in the run for state.

It took five sets but the volleyball team has advanced to the regional semifinal after defeating Rockwall-Heath 3-2 (25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 14-25, 15-13) in the regional quarterfinal.
The Leopards will play Mansfield Summit Friday night at Richardson Berkner High School at 5 p.m. Summit is coming off wins over Lake Ridge, Whitehouse, and Kimball.
With a win, the Leopards will face the winner of Prosper and Waxahachie on Saturday.
