Personalized spirit wear has been a thing for the senior class from the early days of the school. This year, the class of 2015 decided to continue that tradition with a wide variety of decorated senior overalls.

“I think it is good because it is something fun to do,” senior football player Chase Tucker said. “It is a great tradition for the senior class to have.”

Decorated with iron-on patches, paint, and other crazy combinations of red and black, the overalls and jeans show their school spirit while also allowing students to represent their favorite sports and organizations.

“I put everything I am involved in [on the jeans],” senior Emmaline Stockton said. “FCA, choir, volleyball, PALS, all that stuff on the jeans with ribbons, and sparkles, and lots and lots of glitter.”

Although not all students wear them, seniors and underclassmen alike found the overalls to be a fun way to spread school spirit.

“I think it is pretty cool and it shows a lot of school spirit,” freshman Katie Bardwell said. “I would definitely make them my senior year.”
