While most students were enjoying a three day weekend, debate students were in East Texas at the first tournament of the year. Several of these students earned points towards qualifying to attend TFA state that will be held in March. Below is a list of all students who placed in the finals.

Friday Hallsville Tournament Results:
Andrew Kalinke: 6 Place in Original Oratory
Sonali Mehta: 4 place in Poetry, 6 place in Prose
Nate Wutzke: 6 place Domestic Extemp, 6 place in Poetry
Stu Mair & Stewart Cannon – 3 place in CX Debate
Bryce Broomham – 8 in Congressional Debate

Saturday Van Results:
Bryce Broomham – 5 in Congressional Debate; 3 in Original Oratory
Sonali Mehta: 4 in Original Oratory; 2 in Poetry
