The first weekend of May brought the end to Leopard softball season and a continuation of the baseball season.

The baseball team moved to the second round of the playoffs after winning the first two games in a best of three series against Texarkana Texas High. The Leopards won the first game Thursday in Texarkana 6-3, then came home and beat Texas High 3-0 on Friday. Unfortunately the win on Friday, came at a cost as senior Luke Boylson dislocated his elbow and is out for the rest of the season.

The Leopard baseball team will play Red Oak in an area round match-up this week.

For the softball team, there are no more games as the team lost its three game series to Ennis. After taking the first game at Ennis, the Leopards lost at home 14-8 Friday night and then lost again 18-1 on Saturday to bring their season to a close.

The Leopard softball team finished the year with a record of 20-14-1.
