After practicing almost every school day since August, the Majestics have finally reached their end product as Thursday, Friday, and Saturday they will be putting on their Spring Show “Fierce” in the school’s auditorium at 7 p.m.

“I’m really looking forward to my first show as a Majestic,” sophomore Michaela Boylson said. “I’m excited to share this experience with the girls I love and make them proud. Especially the seniors, because I’ve gotten so close to all of them and I feel I need to keep the legacy going in honor of them.”

Starting at their bootcamp over summer, the Majestics begin their long season that lasts nearly the entire school year.

“We’ve developed such close friendships through everything,” junior Kinsey Smith said. “We’ve been able to grow and learn from each other.”

Among the pieces they will be performing are their award winning national dances. Jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, modern, novelty, and lyrical were among those that won acknowledgements for their advanced technical skills and choreography.

“It’s satisfying that after all this hard work we get to display our routines for our peers,” senior Rachel Segal said.  “As a senior this show is bittersweet for me because it’s the last time I get to dance with my majestics.”

In addition, there will be dances performed by the “Rookie” Majestics and Manjestics.

“Working with the Majestics has been a fun experience,” senior Colby Knight said. “Their show looks great so everybody should come.”

From 7 a.m. practices and numerous after school rehearsals, the show has come together to create a unique experience to those who will watch it.

“Competing at the national level has prepared us to put on a fantastic spring show,” assistant-director Jenny Willis said. “I am extremely proud of the work we have done.”
