While some find the act of putting their personal belongings on display at a garage sale both invasive and strange, many find it a great opportunity. Saturday there will be a chance for local residents to do it on a bigger scale as the city of Allen hosts a community garage sale in Joe Farmer Recreation Center parking lot on Bethany Drive.

Registration is not necessary to browse or buy, but anybody interested in renting a space, must sign up by Thursday. Each space is 17’ x 10’ with prices ranging from $20-50.

Table and chairs will not be provided and there is limited space available.
