When the baseball team started its season, there were high hopes. However, the season has not been going the way the team planned.

While the team was able to win its district opener against Wylie High School 2-1 Tuesday, tournament play has not been strong.

In its first tournament of the season, the team went 1-5 beating Dallas Sunset while losing to Denison, Allen, Burleson Centennial, Byron Nelson and Tomball.

The second tournament didn’t go much better with the team going 2-4 beating CCA and Arlington Lamar and losing to Trinity, L.D. Bell twice and Southlake Carroll.

The Leopards are playing in a tournament at Frisco Liberty starting today and continuing throughout this weekend.

The team will face Hebron and McKinney Boyd, two 5A schools, today and will face Frisco Liberty on Friday. Saturday’s opponents are to be determined.
