Girl’s varsity soccer recognizes teachers

Teacher Jasen Eairheart accepts his an award from the students that chose him to represent their experience at Lovejoy.

The soccer field is usually separate from the classroom, but last night the girl’s soccer program brought the two together during a home game against the Wylie Pirates that ended in a 1-1 tie.

Members of the girl’s varsity soccer team elected a teacher to invite to the game and were required to fill out a sheet with the reasons why they chose that teacher along with things such as like their favorite memories with the teacher.

Teachers that were able to go the the game were greeted flowers and with recognition before the game.  Teacher’s honored were: Jasen Eairheart, Katherine Harrison, Suma Joseph, Homa Lewis, Amy Page, Amanda Glorioso, Amy Tokarz, Lindsay Weaver, Jeff Seidel, Brian Higgins, Mallín Hernandez, Greg Fisher, Michael Birdwell, Ginny Clark, Amanda Beller and Michael Voth.
