The varsity girls basketball team will be paying tribute to its seniors before the opening tip of tonight’s District 13-4A contest against visiting Wylie East. Entering the game with a 10-3 district record, the Leopards are trying to secure second place in the district.

“Senior night means a lot to me because not only is tonight a huge game in district, seeding wise for playoffs, but it’s the last time I’ll play on home court,” senior Lindy Leggett said. “You just want to go out with a bang, leave it all out there, and play with your teammates one last time.”

The game against Wylie East is the regular season finale for the Leopards and the last time the seniors will be playing on campus.

“It’s the last time I’ll get to play on our home court,” senior Stefanie Lewrenz said. “It’s really the last memory I get to make with my team playing basketball, so that means a lot to me.”
