It’s time to spread some light on athletes that often get overlooked on campus.

The Leopard bowling team had an extraordinary match last night against Plano East High School.

11 out of 20 bowlers won their individual matches against Plano East, one of bowling’s highest ranked schools in the state.

“As a whole I feel like the meet went very, very well,” head coach Crystal Smith said. “Our bowlers were highly competitive, they put forth their best effort and bowled some of their highest games of the season. We won eleven out of twenty matches against one of the highest ranking schools in the state of Texas.”

The list of winners includes:

Austin Cooper
Austin Prince
Mitch Cross
Thomas Carter
Megan Tran-Olmstead
Sean McCleskey
Marisa Kunzman
Hannah Williams
Ashley Williams
Katie Williams
Ryan Allen

“The bowlers are increasing their averages,” Smith said. “They are getting better and better every day and I’m especially looking forward to our last few matches of the year.”
