A season that started months ago for the Leopard wrestling team is officially over with the completion of the State Meet in Garland. Senior Camden Droge was the Leopards lone representative.

Wrestling is heading into the final weeks of the season and the road to state begins Friday with the school hosting the district meet.

“We want to do well because it’s almost the end of the wrestling season and it’s at home,” sophomore Collin Boyd said. “Plus who doesn’t want to win?”

The wrestlers aren’t treating this week differently but they know it’s time to step up.

“We’ve been preparing all week as usual,” junior Hunter Evans said. “I think it’s safe to say that we’re ready to bring our a-game tomorrow night.”
