The Leopard basketball team had an interesting weekend to say the least.

On their way down to Austin, Texas for the Buda Hays tournament, the Leopards’ bus broke down. What is usually about a four and a half hour drive turned into a nine hour drive.

The long drive wasn’t the only hardship as a result of the bus breaking down.

Because of their late arrival, the team was forced to forfeit their first game.

This was not the way the team expected to begin the weekend.

However, it somewhat turned around when they won three games; all three decisively.

In the fourth game, the Leopards faced tougher competition.

The team was down and managed to come back and tie the game at the end, however, the opposing team made a miraculous half court shot to beat the Leopards and end their tournament play.

The team was 3-2 overall for the weekend.

The Leopards next game is Tuesday, December 17 at Mckinney North.
