Football player of the week
The defense was instrumental in the victory over Denison. Without this win, the Leopards would have almost eliminated their chances at playoffs.

More often than not, MVP’s are offensive players. However this week, the Red Ledger has chosen defensive lineman Grant Benno as the player of the week.
In last Friday’s game against Denison who was undefeated before facing the Leopards, Benno was a part of the d-line that held the Denison offense and allowed the Leopards to put 56 points up on the board.
Benno had one assist against Denison and did his job of holding the Denison offensive line all throughout the game.
