New iPhone Expectations

Every year, Apple releases a new product that catches the attention of many. On Tuesday, Apple is expected to announce its newest release (maybe even releases) and students on campus have high hopes for a great product.

Apple announced its addition to the series of phones with an invitation sent out to the media reading “This should brighten your day.”

This has brought lots of excitement and anticipation to many students who are very anxious to see what Apple has in store.

“I want to be able to draw my password instead of typing it,” sophomore Drew Hawley said.

If the rumors are right, a new iPhone will do better than that, as its expected to have fingerprint authentication that would eliminate the need for a screen password.

Among other anticipated changes the back of one version of the phone is likely to be plastic, so it will be more affordable than the regular device and may be offered in more colors.

“I would like to see an orange, pink, or blue iPhone,” junior Mary Grado said.

One of the bigger problems with the iPhone series is the easily breakable screen. If the phone hits the ground at the right force or angle, the screen can easily be shattered.

“I would like to see something like a shatter proof screen,” freshman Cody Carmichael said.

Many people on campus own an iPhone of some kind, so when the device is released it will surely create conversation in the halls of school.

“I can not wait for the new iPhone, because of how it will look and all the new features,” junior Garron Weeks said.
