School comes to a close for class of 2013

Graduation cords, along with caps and gowns are already in the hands of seniors as the last few days of school are filled with numerous senior events and activities.

The final two week stretch is underway and ninth, tenth, and eleventh graders are beginning to review for next week’s finals. However, it’s exam week for seniors without exemptions, making the last week of school open for senior activities such as Six Flags Day.

“Getting out a week early is definitely a senior perk as we haven’t gotten any other perks this year,” senior Holly Ostrander said.

The schedule for seniors is slightly different this week as they will be on an exam schedule. For those that have to take exams, the lecture hall will be the main testing location for seniors.

Although seniors will not have to attend classes next week, they are expected to report to the auxiliary gym at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday and Friday, while on Wednesday and Thursday seniors will report to the main gym at 8:45 a.m.

Julia Carder is now a senior...FINALLY. She has been dreaming of the day she could walk the halls and push freshman around since she was a little girl. No not really. Some important facts you should know about Julia are the following: She is an avid Breaking Bad fan, a lover of mexican food and Chipotle, and she is a Texas A&M Aggie. With college coming up around the corner she has already sent in her application and praying for acceptance. However, she is open to OU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Arkansas and others. She’s pretty chill. She is pumped about her third year on The Red Ledger staff and hopes y’all like what you read.
