Student council’s plans for a school version of the internet sensation “Harlem Shake” didn’t happen at the pep rally. With students running out of time to make it happen and the pep rally already running long, Associate Principal Chris Mayfield sent students to first period. Hoping to salvage the “Shake”, students quickly rescheduled it for A lunch. But once again, the plans hit a snag.
The Red Ledger’s Mackenzie Miller sets the record straight in this podcast.

So the school organized pep rally ran late so the administrators zapped the Harlem Shake to get school going, then when it was trying to be finished in the cafeteria (yes THAT cafeteria) the administrators grinched it out again.
Too funny you move school start times back so sports get more time (boy that could be whole Red Ledger series as to whether delaying school for sports is a good idea since it penalizes everybody but those particular cultures) then school pep rally runs late (did they get 15yd penalty for delay of school).
Nice…
