Boys basketball prepares for upcoming season

As boys’ basketball begins a new season, the players anticipate a good year for both the varsity and j.v. teams.

“I feel very strong about how far we can go, because we’ve been putting hard work in, and our dedication is growing, and we are really growing as a team,” junior guard Sam Victor said.

The varsity team will be able to feel the effects of that hard work at their first game on November 13th.

Likewise, the j.v. team’s prospects look hopeful.

“I think we’re going to have a good season this year,” sophomore Jonathan Gonzalez said.  “We have good talent on the team this year.”

The basketball players’ optimistic outlook stems from their vigorous daily practices, which start at 7 a.m. every morning and going into first period. They are confident that their strenuous practices are preparing them for the intensity of their competition this season. Both j.v. and varsity predict a promising season in boys’ basketball.

Stephanie Thomson is a girl of few interests. She never listens to decent music. So if you like good music, don’t talk to her about it. Movies are not her slice of bread. You like good movies? Hey. Just keep it to yourself. Holy tamole! She’s on the Majestics Dance Team as Senior Class Representative! WOW! Just keep moving, children, there’s nothing to talk about here. Her Twitter is usually embarrassing jokes that only she would ever find funny, and she’s never ever made an Instagram video. If you’re one of the select few who follow her, you should talk to her about it. Just kidding. Don’t talk to her about that. Or anything else. Have the hots for her sexy Toyota Camry? You know she does! So don’t even bother asking her. This story doesn’t have a moral, so *insert deep and resounding question here*.
