Usually students have to make a road trip for a college visit. But on Monday, art students will have to go no farther than E-112 as the Minneapolis College of Art and Design will present at 8 a.m. and the Art Center in Pasadena, CA will present at noon.
“(This) helps students have 1 on 1 time, and gives them a chance for schools to come look at a small 4A school,” art teacher Brice McCasland said.
Having the chance to contact a college without leaving campus is something art students are looking forward to.
“This is an opportunity for 1 on 1 and for colleges to remember the face and art work and not just an application.” senior Emily Sinaloa said.
